The thought of apocalypse alone is something to be scared of, imagine what it would be like to witness a zombie apocalypse.

This is what the whole series is about. It is said about the series that it is so interesting, that 8 episodes all passed with a blink of an eye. Now it is the time when the audience waits for the next season but unfortunately there is no news about it.
Black summer season 2
Black Summer Season 1 had a very curious end and the audience can not seem to have enough of the season already. Season 2 which is in the process of renewal was supposed to come out some time last year but it couldn’t happen because of the pandemic.
Now that things are towards normalising, the season 2 might be released any time this year. The filming for season 2 of ‘Black Summer season 2” began in early 2020. But on 18th March, it was postponed for two weeks, Hence, it was expected that the filming will resume in April 2020. Unfortunately, the pandemic delayed it indefinitely.
According to reports, the filming resumed on 3rd September 2020. It was later confirmed that the filming is going to occur in Calgary, Canada. In an interview the lead actress of the series said:

“whatever you think is going to happen, will not happen. Season 2 of Black Summer season 2 will always keep you on your toes.
She mentioned that it really does come back to very real human traits. Like, is the person egotistical? Do they have some kind of ulterior motive? What is in each character’s base psychology?
Seems like the next Black Summer season is going to be more entertaining and captivating than the season 1. This season has managed to get a huge rating because of the mind blowing performance.
