Diablo is one of the most popular video game franchises in the world. The hack-and-slash RPG games have been around since the year 1996, and millions of gamers are eagerly awaiting news about the upcoming Diablo Immortal game. After much anticipation and speculation, the release date for Diablo Immortal has finally been announced. Are you ready to pick up your sword and battle the hordes of demons once again? The wait is almost over! Diablo Immortal is scheduled to launch on June the 2nd of the year 2022, so mark your calendars! In the meantime, keep an eye on the official website for more information and updates.
Differences Between PC and Mobile
If you’re a fan of the Diablo series, then you’re probably eagerly awaiting the release of Diablo Immortal. After all, it’s been quite some time since there was a new installment in the franchise. But what are some of the differences between Diablo Immortal and the PC version? Read on to learn more!
The controls are different
On PC you use the mouse and keyboard, while on mobile you use your fingers.
Gamers who have been eagerly awaiting the release of Diablo Immortal on June 2, may be disappointed to learn that the mobile version of the game has different controls from the PC version. While both versions will be playable online with others, players using different versions will have separate chat screens. The upside is that Blizzard says they are “completely separate games” in terms of content and balance, so those playing on their phones or tablets need not feel as if they are at a disadvantage.
The big question for many is whether or not this signals a move by Blizzard to make all their games available on mobile devices moving forward. Only time will tell, but in the meantime, gamers can rest assured that they’ll at least have two very different ways to play one of the most incredible games in history!
There is no Auction House in the mobile version
Blizzard has announced that Diablo Immortal, the much anticipated mobile game set in the Diablo universe, will feature an in-game auction house. However, this is not your typical auction house. Called “The Market”, it will not follow the previous models and players will have to earn all their gear in Diablo Immortal through gameplay; it can’t be bought on the market or even traded!
Instead, players will be able to buy and sell gems and other “supplemental materials” at The Market.
You can’t pause the game on mobile
Beware: you can’t pause the game on mobile! That means if you have to step away from your phone for a minute, your character could be in trouble. So make sure you’re prepared before starting out on your next adventure in the demon-infested world of Sanctuary. Good luck—and don’t get yourself killed!
The graphics aren’t as good as they are on PC
Have you ever tried playing a mobile game and then switched to playing the same game on your PC? If so, you may have noticed that the graphics on the PC are a lot better. But why is that? Why aren’t the graphics as good on mobile devices? There’s no question that PC gaming offers the best graphics. But does that mean mobile gamers are missing out? Not necessarily! Even though the graphics might be better on PC, playing on mobile will give you the option to play anywhere, anytime!
